Coinbase supports AERO and VELO token migration November 2-4

Cryptobriefing.com reports that Coinbase will support the migration of Aerodrome and Velodrome holdings into a unified AERO token from November 2 to 4, 2026. The exchange will convert legacy tokens into the new AERO at no cost as the two decentralized exchanges merge under the Aero brand. During this window, deposits and withdrawals of the legacy tokens will be paused temporarily.

VELO trading will first enter limit-only mode before being disabled entirely. Holders of Aerodrome will receive approximately 94.5% of the new supply, while Velodrome holders receive 5.5%. This allocation reflects revenue generated over the 52 weeks prior to the merger announcement.

Aerodrome produced $260 million in revenue compared to Velodrome’s $15 million. The unified platform targets an October 21, 2026, launch across Base, Optimism, and Ethereum mainnet. Following the merger news in late September, AERO climbed 25.5% to $0.89 and VELO jumped 22.1% to $0.038. The conversion rate for VELO is approximately 0.044 per token.
