FinCEN withdraws unhosted wallet rule as Remittix expands

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Techbullion.com reports that the US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network withdrew a proposed rule requiring reporting and identity verification for certain unhosted wallet transactions. This policy shift removes specific reporting duties for financial institutions handling these transfers, though existing obligations for exchanges remain in place. Bitcoin Cash benefits from this clarity, reinforcing its narrative around self-custody and low-friction payments.

Meanwhile, Remittix is expanding its ecosystem with a live iOS wallet and a planned unified experience connecting PayFi, Markets, and Earn functions. The company has recorded over 10,000 downloads of its iOS wallet and launched a Markets platform with $50 million in cumulative trading volume. One thousand existing RTX holders have been invited to test PayFi’s EUR and USD crypto-to-bank options.

Remittix aims to create a journey where users control assets, trade them, and convert them to fiat within a single app. The project has raised over $32 million from more than 40,000 presale participants toward a $36 million cap. RTX tokens are intended for settlement and staking as the ecosystem grows. The token is scheduled to debut on November 24 at a final tier price of $0.46.
