BNB Chain launches Agent Studio v3 with new wallet and payment features

BNB (BNB) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptobriefing.com reports that BNB Chain has released the third major version of its Agent Studio platform for autonomous AI agents. The v3 update introduces support for the Trust Wallet Agent Kit, known as TWAK, allowing developers to target users with existing Trust Wallet installations. It also simplifies access to tBNB testnet tokens and expands payment capabilities through the x402/B402 protocol to include stablecoin transactions.

Developers can now set spending limits and customize payment sessions for agents handling transactions autonomously. A key technical addition is self-funding capability, enabling agents to automatically top up wallets from pre-approved sources while keeping user keys secure. The platform launched on BSC mainnet in July 2026, with v2 arriving in mid-August to add on-chain payments and TypeScript support.

This biweekly update cadence layers new capabilities on the existing architecture rather than overhauling it. The v3 release aims to reduce operational overhead by addressing friction in wallet integration, payments, and fund management. Expanded stablecoin support makes cost structures predictable for frequent, small transactions typical in AI agent use cases. The roadmap includes additional wallet options, enterprise-grade key security, and a management dashboard.
