BNB Coin Surges Past $800 as Bitcoin Cash Jumps 28%

BNB (BNB) Editor: Eugene Serbin

thebitjournal.com reports that BNB Coin has pushed back toward the $800 area, briefly breaking above that mark to reach a 24-hour high of approximately $806.53 before slipping back. Bitcoin Cash also surged 28.76% to $341.18, while Bitcoin itself gained more than 6% on Monday. This broader rally was accelerated by leverage, with roughly $844 million in short positions liquidated over the past day.

Michael Wrubel has helped put Apeing in the spotlight as its $APEING token advances through Stage 5 of its 33-stage presale. The presale is currently priced at $0.00055, with the next stage set to increase the price to $0.0006. Apeing has sold over 460M tokens and raised $104K+ from more than 400 holders.

The project features tiered staking rewards up to 85% APY and an Ape Referral system offering 10% extra tokens. A hypothetical $1,000 purchase at the current price would yield approximately 1,818,181 $APEING tokens. The token has a fixed supply of 16.75 billion, with 40% allocated to the presale and 30% for staking. BNB’s recovery from $704 brings it to a closely watched resistance area near $800.

Whalio data shows BNB trading at $767.38, with a 1-hour buy ratio of 40.3% indicating immediate selling pressure compared to the 24-hour average of 48.2%. However, the 4-hour buy ratio sits at 50.6%, suggesting that buying interest is building over a slightly longer timeframe than the last hour. The 1-hour volume delta is negative at -$2,086,579, meaning more money flowed out than in during that short window. Over the past 24 hours, the volume delta is -$5,590,604, showing that net selling has outweighed buying throughout the day. A cumulative volume delta (CVD) of -$3,003,092 confirms that sellers have dominated the spot market over the last day. Despite this, spot volume remains robust at $157,637,324 with over 800,000 trades executed.

The latest daily buy ratio of 46.4% sits at the 18th percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 49.2% - weaker buying than most days.

Over the preceding week, BNB saw a 5.7% price increase and traded at 1.21 times its average volume. The 7-day average buy ratio was 48.5%, which is slightly higher than the current 24-hour ratio of 48.2%. This indicates that today’s buying pressure is roughly in line with the weekly norm, though the recent 1-hour dip to 40.3% shows temporary weakness. Net buying has only occurred on 2 of the past 7 days, with a total volume delta of -$29,538,496 for the period. This suggests that while the coin is trending upward in price, sustained net buying is not yet a consistent daily occurrence.
