Tokenized Stocks Hit $3B Weekly Volume Led by Robinhood and Solana

BNB (BNB) Editor: Eugene Serbin

bitcoinethereumnews.com reports that tokenized stock trading has entered billion-dollar territory, with weekly spot volume reaching nearly $3 billion in early August. Grayscale Investments identified Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, and Solana as the primary networks capturing this activity across blockchain-based equities. Robinhood Chain launched its public mainnet on July 1, utilizing Arbitrum technology to support 24-hour trading for eligible users in over 120 countries.

The platform allows interaction with decentralized exchanges and potential use in lending applications, though its Stock Tokens are currently structured as debt securities rather than conveying legal ownership. Token Terminal data places the tokenized-stocks market capitalization at approximately $3 billion, while the broader tokenized-funds category stands at $34.3 billion. Onchain value locked in protocols using tokenized stocks has risen above $110 million, a sharp increase from below $10 million for much of 2025.

Solana-based Kamino and Jupiter contributed significantly to this growth in lending activity. Despite this expansion, only about 5% of the tokenized-equity market is currently deployed in onchain financial applications. The remaining activity remains centered on buying and selling rather than utilizing shares as collateral or for borrowing.

BNB is trading at $766.53 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 53.3%, indicating that buyers are currently outnumbering sellers over the full day. This buying pressure is stronger than the 4-hour reading of 49.0%, suggesting that short-term momentum is fading slightly compared to the daily average. However, the 1-hour buy ratio of 51.5% shows that immediate activity is still leaning toward accumulation. The 24-hour volume delta is positive at +$16,920,419, meaning net buying volume has exceeded net selling volume over the last day. This positive delta confirms that the higher buy ratio is driving actual capital inflow rather than just price stability. In contrast, the 4-hour volume delta is negative at -$231,920, indicating that recent hours have seen more selling pressure than buying pressure.

The latest daily buy ratio of 46.4% sits at the 18th percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 49.2% - weaker buying than most days.
