PancakeSwap shifts Infinity pool fees to 90/10 split on Robinhood Chain
According to thecryptocurrencypost.net, PancakeSwap has updated its fee structure for Infinity pools on Robinhood Chain. Liquidity providers will now receive 90% of trading fees, while the protocol retains the remaining 10%. This adjustment applies across every Infinity pool on the chain, as confirmed by the project’s announcement.
The protocol highlighted the WETH/USDG pool as an example, noting it operates at a 0.01% fee tier with a 6.41% APR and $204.79K in 24-hour volume. A team member stated that this new split increases LP income compared to the previous 67/33 arrangement. They also confirmed that existing liquidity providers do not need to take any action for the change to apply.
The announcement cited Robinhood Chain activity, noting the chain recorded $10 billion in DEX volume last week. This figure was provided as context for the fee change rather than as proof of a direct effect. The adjustment is straightforward, meaning the immediate change is the fee distribution itself. There is no new product or separate migration step required for traders and LPs.
How the market reacted
Whalio's own Binance spot order flow for CAKE, measured when this story was written up on 29 September 2026. Not the outlet's figures.
CAKE is trading at $2.59 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 56.3%, indicating that buyers are currently dominating the market. However, shorter timeframes show a shift, with the 1-hour buy ratio at 47.7% and the 4-hour ratio at 49.6%, suggesting buying pressure is fading in the immediate term. Volume Delta reflects this dynamic, showing a net outflow of -$15,868 in the last hour and -$10,928 over four hours. In contrast, the 24-hour Volume Delta is positive at +$1,480,429, indicating that net buying has occurred over the full day. CVD closed at +$495,820, confirming that net buying pressure has been present for 15 of the last 24 hours. Spot volume reached $11,737,138 with 136,085 trades recorded.
The latest daily buy ratio of 62.4% sits at the 100th percentile of the last 323 days, against a median of 50.6% - among the strongest buying days it has had.
Was that an ordinary day?
The same Binance spot measurements for CAKE, averaged over the days leading up to the story.
Over the preceding week, the 7-day average buy ratio was 49.6%, meaning the current 24-hour ratio of 56.3% is +6.6 points higher than the weekly norm. Volume is also elevated, running at 1.12x the weekly average. Despite this increased activity, net buying occurred on only 2 of the 7 days. The price changed +1.7% over the 8-day period, with a total Volume Delta of +$534,208. This suggests that while today is an unusual day for buying intensity, the broader weekly trend remains mixed with limited days of net accumulation.
