Jupiter Integrates with MoonPay PayBox for AI Trading on Solana
Cryptobriefing.com reports that Jupiter, Solana’s leading swap aggregator, has integrated with MoonPay’s PayBox to enable AI-driven trading. Launched on September 3, this connection allows users to execute limit orders and dollar-cost averaging strategies through chatbots like ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. PayBox acts as a non-custodial vault using multi-party computation and trusted execution environments to secure private keys without central access.
Users can choose between an “Always Ask” verification mode or autonomous execution within pre-set limits for recurring trades. The integration gives conversational AI users access to Jupiter’s Trade, Earn, and Manage product pillars, which were reorganized in July 2026. While Solana is the primary chain, PayBox also supports Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Polygon. MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright stated, “Jupiter is the standard for how serious traders trade on Solana.” This builds on a 2024 collaboration that introduced fiat on-ramps to Jupiter Mobile, now expanding into full trading functionality.
How the market reacted
Whalio's own Binance spot order flow for JUP, measured when this story was written up on 3 September 2026. Not the outlet's figures.
JUP is trading at $0.2238 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 52.1%, indicating that buyers controlled the majority of volume over the day. However, shorter-term pressure shows a shift, with the 1-hour buy ratio dropping to 43.8% and the 4-hour ratio at 42.8%. The volume delta reflects this short-term selling, showing -$36,521 in the last hour and -$154,545 over four hours. Volume delta measures the net difference between buy and sell volume, so negative figures mean sellers are currently outpacing buyers. Despite the recent dip, the 24-hour volume delta remains positive at +$170,259, suggesting that net buying pressure has been stronger over the full day than in the immediate short term.
The latest daily buy ratio of 54.7% sits at the 96th percentile of the last 281 days, against a median of 48.6% - among the strongest buying days it has had.
Was that an ordinary day?
The same Binance spot measurements for JUP, averaged over the days leading up to the story.
Over the preceding week, the average buy ratio was 48.4%, making today’s 52.1% reading an increase of 3.6 percentage points above the norm. Spot volume was 1.13 times the weekly average, indicating higher-than-usual activity. While the 24-hour period saw net buying, the 8-day volume delta was -$316,396, showing that sellers dominated the broader weekly trend. This day represents a reversal of the weekly selling pressure, with net buying occurring for 8 of the last 24 hours compared to only 2 of the past 7 days. The price has risen 1.8% over eight days, reflecting a modest recovery despite the overall negative weekly volume delta.
