Quant and Chainlink target banks with different blockchain solutions

Chainlink (LINK) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Cryptocurrency.com.tr reports that Quant and Chainlink are competing for the same banking clients seeking multi-chain connectivity. Both projects address the challenge of banks connecting to dozens of blockchains without committing to a single network. Quant operates a layer above existing networks, removing the need for banks to decide which specific blockchain to address.

In contrast, Chainlink establishes a standard for transfers between networks, requiring confirmation from multiple independent groups. This structural difference influences whom a bank must ultimately trust for its operations. It also determines whether the project's native token is required for these processes.

Banks face the practical issue of maintaining separate integrations for each network they join. Connecting individually means building and sustaining a unique integration for every network indefinitely.
