Remittix Tests PayFi as Litecoin Payment Use Remains Focus

Litecoin (LTC) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Techbullion reports that Litecoin continues to serve as digital money for fast, low-cost payments while Remittix approaches its November 24 RTX debut. The project has invited 1,000 existing holders to test converting supported crypto into fiat via compatible bank routes for EUR and USD. This PayFi bridge aims to connect crypto transfers to traditional banking for recipients needing local currency.

Remittix has raised more than $32 million toward a $36 million cap with a final presale tier of $0.46. The ecosystem includes a wallet, a live Markets platform with over $50 million in cumulative volume, and an upcoming Earn product offering up to 22% APY. More than 10,000 iOS wallet downloads have been recorded alongside a presale community exceeding 40,000 users.

The World Bank estimated global remittances at $856 billion in 2024, highlighting the substantial market for such services. If the initial cohort finds the service convenient, RTX could expand beyond a simple token launch into a broader commercial story.

Litecoin is trading at $70.10 with a 1-hour buy ratio of 51.8%, indicating short-term buying pressure that exceeds the 4-hour ratio of 49.2%. This short-term uptick contrasts with the 24-hour buy ratio of 45.4%, suggesting that aggressive buying is fading over the longer timeframe. The 1-hour volume delta is positive at +$31,664, while the 4-hour and 24-hour deltas are negative at -$30,899 and -$2,056,035 respectively. A positive volume delta means buyers are absorbing more liquidity than sellers are providing, whereas negative values indicate sellers are dominating the flow. The 24-hour cumulative volume delta stands at -$2,126,683, confirming that net selling pressure has outweighed buying over the last day.

The latest daily buy ratio of 44.9% sits at the 4th percentile of the last 323 days, against a median of 49.3% - among the weakest buying days it has had.
