Polygon Updates POL MiCA White Paper for EU Trading Access

Techgaged.com reports that Polygon has published an updated Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation white paper for POL. The document, version 2.0, was originally notified to the Central Bank of Ireland in December 2025 and published in January 2026. An update was submitted on August 25, 2026, to include required Digital Token Identifier information.

The revised paper lists trading venues where POL is admitted to trading in the EU and EEA. This includes major international exchanges and several Europe-focused platforms. The filing is a regulatory disclosure process rather than an endorsement of the asset’s value or risk profile.

MiCA forces projects to formalize information that previously lived across websites and technical documentation. Compliant distribution may become a competitive advantage as enforcement matures. Tokens with complete documentation are easier for regulated platforms to support. This update marks the slow institutionalization of crypto markets in Europe.

POL is trading at $0.1102 with a 1-hour buy ratio of 64.2% and a 4-hour buy ratio of 55.8%. These short-term figures indicate active buying pressure that is stronger than the 24-hour buy ratio of 47.4%. Volume delta is positive in the short term, with +$45,871 in the last hour and +$53,141 over four hours. However, the 24-hour volume delta is -$156,604, showing that net selling has outweighed buying over the full day. The cumulative volume delta closed at -$106,605, confirming that sellers dominated the daily flow. Net buying occurred in only 7 of the last 24 hours. Spot volume for the period was $3,032,619 across 57,208 trades.

The latest daily buy ratio of 45.6% sits at the 6th percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 49.7% - among the weakest buying days it has had.

Over the preceding week, the average buy ratio was 54.8%, making the latest day's 47.4% ratio 7.3 points lower than the average. Volume was just 0.25 times the weekly average, indicating significantly reduced trading activity. The price dropped 8.6% over eight days, with a total volume delta of +$9,103,803 for the period. While six of seven days saw net buying, the recent drop in volume and buy ratio suggests this is an unusual day for the coin. The current low volume and lower buy ratio contrast with the broader weekly trend of net buying.
