Ansem sees pump.fun as Layer 1 infrastructure as PUMP hits new high

Pump.fun (PUMP) Editor: Eugene Serbin

lookonchain.com reports that trader Ansem believes the market has not yet fully priced in pump.fun’s evolution into Layer 1-like infrastructure. He notes that token creators receive creator fees nearly equal to the platform’s revenue, with roughly $500 million paid out for every $500 million generated. This structure gives teams strong incentives to build products on the platform after their tokens complete the bonding curve phase.

Ansem argues this economic model may be superior to traditional Layer 1s because pump.fun collects fees from every layer of token-launching platforms and each token they issue. With features like custom trading pairs and Callout Rewards, he expects the market to value PUMP similarly to Layer 1 assets. He remains optimistic that pump.fun will emerge as a super app in this cycle.

Additionally, CZ revealed in an interview that he was detained in the same prison as SBF, one after the other. The report also notes that PUMP broke through $0.0063, hitting a new high since '1011'.

PUMP is trading at $0.0270 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 49.6%, indicating a near-even split between buyers and sellers. However, the 1-hour buy ratio has dropped to 33.1% and the 4-hour ratio to 40.5%, showing that buying pressure is fading in the short term. This decline is confirmed by negative volume deltas of -$375,078 over the last hour and -$824,764 over the last four hours. The Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) for the 24-hour close is -$668,314, meaning sellers have dominated the flow recently. Spot volume reached $37,759,950 with 302,724 trades, but net buying occurred for only 10 of the 24 hours. The data suggests that while volume is high, the momentum is shifting toward selling in the immediate term.
