Pump.fun launches custom pairs with stocks and metals

Pump.fun (PUMP) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Lookonchain.com reports that Pump.fun has launched Custom Pairs, a feature enabling newly issued tokens to be paired with tokenized U.S. stocks, major cryptocurrencies, and metals. The platform now offers 93 quote assets, including 20 new additions such as Boeing, Alibaba, Costco, and Dell. Creators can select their paired asset at issuance and must choose between a Creator Fee ranging from 0.05% to 1% or Cashback.

These fees are disbursed in the selected quote asset and can be split among up to 10 addresses. Fifty percent of the revenue generated from Custom Pairs will be allocated to a programmed PUMP token buyback and burn contract. Existing tokens cannot modify their paired asset once created.

The platform emphasized that tokenized assets are issued by third parties and it does not provide stock or securities trading services. This development aligns fee rules with standard token launches while introducing new pairing options.

The 24-hour buy ratio of 49.9% is slightly below the 7-day average buy ratio of 50.8%. Volume over the last day was 1.84 times the weekly average, indicating unusually high activity. The coin experienced 4 days of net buying out of the past 7 days. The 8-day volume delta total was +$8,101,363, contrasting with the recent 24-hour net outflow.
