Pump.fun launches tokenized stock pairs on Solana

Pump.fun (PUMP) Editor: Eugene Serbin

The Defiant reported that Pump.fun has introduced Custom Pairs, allowing creators to launch memecoins paired with tokenized stocks, wrapped Bitcoin, and metals. This update brings Solana in line with Robinhood Chain's model, which previously drove significant volume in tokenized equities. The new pairs are routed through Sunrise and xStocks, with twenty specific stocks like Boeing, Alibaba, and Nvidia now available for trading.

Fees from these custom pools follow the standard 1.25% structure, with half of the revenue directed to a PUMP buyback-and-burn contract. Creator fees range from 0.05% to 1%, paid in the quote asset, while a Cashback option allows rewards to be shared with traders. Liquidity data shows Wrapped ETH holding $3.07 million, while Nvidia and Circle tokens hold over $1 million each.

The first pools launched in Wrapped BTC, with reserves between $3,200 and $3,800, though no stock-quoted launches appeared by 5 p.m. ET. Pump.fun noted that these pairs offer deeper liquidity and lower fees than other venues, despite the source observing thinner books than SOL or USDC pairs. The tokenized stock market is valued at $2.93 billion, with xStocks accounting for $631.2 million of that total. PUMP traded at $0.004287 by Wednesday evening, down 0.4% over 24 hours.
