Bitcoin Rejected at $87K as QNT and NIGHT Explode

Quant (QNT) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptocurrency.com.tr reports that Bitcoin faced rejection at the $87,000 level despite positive macroeconomic data. The asset initially attempted to break resistance at $85,000 but was halted and dropped by $2,000 within minutes. It recovered over the weekend to challenge the same resistance on Monday morning, only to be driven south below $83,000 support.

This lower boundary of the weekly trading range was tested several times but held firm. On Wednesday, the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) release exceeded expectations, prompting a surge of over $2,000 to $85,600. However, this rally was violently rejected, pushing the price back to its starting point within minutes.

The market concluded the week with a failure to deliver expected gains for risk-on assets. The report highlights that QNT and NIGHT also experienced significant price explosions during this period.

QNT is currently trading at $245.48 with a 1-hour buy ratio of 41.4% and a 4-hour buy ratio of 50.9%. These short-term figures contrast with the 24-hour buy ratio of 47.2%, indicating that immediate buying pressure is fading relative to the daily average. The 1-hour volume delta is negative at -$634,664, while the 4-hour delta is positive at +$294,366, showing mixed short-term sentiment. Over the last 24 hours, the volume delta is -$6,186,159 with a closing CVD of -$254,184, suggesting net selling pressure has dominated the day. This means that sellers have been more aggressive than buyers in the recent hourly and daily windows.

The latest daily buy ratio of 51.2% sits at the 72nd percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 48.7% - stronger buying than most days.
