RLUSD Supply Hits $1.33B as XRP Ledger Stablecoin Market Cap Surges

Ripple USD (RLUSD) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptocurrency.com.tr reports that the XRP Ledger recorded a significant jump in its stablecoin supply during the first week of October 2026, climbing to approximately $1.33 billion. This represents an increase of 14.6% in just seven days and a net addition of nearly $169 million to the ecosystem. The growth is driven almost entirely by RLUSD, which accounts for around 93% of all stablecoin liquidity on the network with $1.24 billion concentrated on the ledger. With this expansion, the network moves closer in the stablecoin-by-blockchain ranking to platforms such as Avalanche and Plasma.

Whalio data shows RLUSD trading at $1.00 with a 1-hour buy ratio of 94.0%, indicating strong immediate buying pressure compared to the 67.4% ratio over the last 4 hours. The 24-hour buy ratio stands at 79.2%, suggesting that while buying remains dominant, the intensity has moderated slightly from the peak seen in the last hour. Volume delta data reflects this activity, showing +$5,489,328 in the last hour and +$1,610,670 over 4 hours, against a 24-hour total of +$2,650,315. A positive volume delta means that the volume of buy orders has exceeded the volume of sell orders, pushing the price up. The cumulative volume delta (CVD) for the 24-hour period closed at +$32,548,834, confirming sustained net buying throughout the day.

The latest daily buy ratio of 39.6% sits at the 19th percentile of the last 267 days, against a median of 52.6% - weaker buying than most days.

The preceding week saw 7 of 7 days with net buying, and the 8-day volume delta total was +$90,118,946. The price change over 8 days remained at 0.0%, showing that the buying pressure has not yet translated into price appreciation despite the consistent net inflows.
