Aave Proposes Onboarding OUSD Stablecoin to V3 and V4 Core

Aave (AAVE) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptowisser.com reports that Aave Labs submitted a proposal on Wednesday to list OpenUSD’s OUSD on Aave V3 Core and Aave V4 Core. The stablecoin is designed for banking, cross-border payments, and institutional trading. At launch, OUSD will function as a supply and borrow asset, with collateral usage disabled on both deployments.

Higher caps and E-Mode configurations may be revisited once onchain liquidity and price history are established. Distribution incentives aim to grow supply among payment networks, fintechs, and exchanges. Borrowable OUSD allows users to borrow against existing collateral or earn native yield.

As an Open Standard launch partner, OUSD is also proposed for the Sentora Externally Curated Hub on Aave V4. Revenue from reserve factors and liquidity fees will accrue to the Aave DAO. Aave is a decentralized money market protocol allowing users to lend and borrow crypto. The AAVE token trades at $165.42, up 3.4% in the last 24 hours.

AAVE is trading at $159.49 on Binance spot, with a 24-hour buy ratio of 51.3% indicating a slight majority of buying pressure. Short-term activity shows a 1-hour buy ratio of 48.9% and a 4-hour ratio of 50.6%, suggesting buying interest is stabilizing after a brief dip. The 24-hour volume delta is positive at +$1,068,772, while the 1-hour delta is negative at -$23,755, showing that recent selling has been outweighed by earlier accumulation. Volume delta measures the net value of buys minus sells, so a positive figure confirms net buying dominance over the day. The cumulative volume delta (CVD) closed at -$551,518, indicating that despite net buying volume, the price action may have been offset by larger sell orders at specific price levels.

The latest daily buy ratio of 49.4% sits at the 46th percentile of the last 323 days, against a median of 49.8% - ordinary for this coin.
