Bitrue highlights Cardano ties as XRP dominates reserves
Digitaltoday.co.kr reports that Bitrue marked its eighth anniversary by emphasizing its long-standing relationship with Cardano (ADA). The exchange stated it has supported the Cardano ecosystem since its launch in 2018, when it listed ADA as a tradable asset. Bitrue claimed to be the first cryptocurrency exchange to list Cardano native tokens (CNT) and introduced ADA as a base currency for trading other digital assets.
The company also noted its participation in the Cardano Summit and its development of a Go library for Cardano integration. Additionally, Bitrue highlighted its support for grassroots initiatives to strengthen decentralization within the ecosystem. Despite these efforts, ADA’s trading volume on the platform was $977,221 against a total of $446.82 million.
In terms of reserves, ADA accounted for only $2.98 million, or 1.67 percent of the total. By contrast, XRP made up 88.55 percent of Bitrue's digital asset reserves. Bitrue reorganized its history to present a unified narrative of listing, infrastructure, and technical support alongside its XRP-centric identity. The exchange expressed its intent to continue building the ecosystem together with Cardano.
