Cardano hits five-month high as Bitcoin trades sideways

Cardano (ADA) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Digitaltoday.co.kr reports that Cardano (ADA) surged 12 percent to $0.27, marking its highest level in five months. This rally occurred while Bitcoin and Ether moved sideways without major fluctuations. The move began after RealFi, a real-world asset tokenisation platform, went live on the mainnet on Oct. 1.

Expectations grew further with the integration of the USDr stablecoin into Lace, Liqwid, and SundaeSwap. Founder Charles Hoskinson shared a chart showing the price jump from $0.244 to $0.264, adding only "#LeiosIsComing" to the post. This phrase raised expectations for Linear Leios, a scalability upgrade based on the CIP-164 standard.

The technology allows stake pools to validate transactions in parallel using BLS signatures. Cardano has tested this on the Musashi Dojo network since June 2026, showing potential improvements of 10-fold to 65-fold. The Dijkstra hard fork is scheduled for late 2026 to integrate this upgrade. Stake pool operators must manually register keys as system parameters adjust.
