Cardano holds $0.20 support amid supply zone resistance

Cardano (ADA) Editor: Eugene Serbin

ambcrypto.com reports that Cardano [ADA] has rallied 2.42% in the past 24 hours, with Open Interest increasing by 2.5%. The altcoin is up 17.7% over the past month, a gain that occurred alongside a Bitcoin [BTC] rally above $80k. While BTC has since fallen back below $80k, ADA has maintained its position above the $0.20 support zone. The price has climbed above the 20-week Moving Average at $0.198, flipping it into support.

However, the token remains below the $0.26-$0.28 overhead supply zone established in May. A breach of the $0.2887 swing high is required to confirm a long-term uptrend for investors. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) shows a reading of -0.10 on the weekly timeframe, signaling capital outflows.

Although the uptrend has persisted since June, the price has not set a new high above $0.258 in the last two weeks. Traders are advised that a drop below $0.20 would signal a bearish shift, while breaking $0.28 could open a long-term buy opportunity.

The 1-hour buy ratio sits at 46.5%, while the 4-hour ratio is slightly higher at 50.4%, suggesting that buying pressure is stabilizing after a brief dip. Volume Delta for the 1-hour period is -$69,650, reflecting immediate selling pressure, whereas the 4-hour delta is positive at +$47,199. Over the full 24 hours, the Volume Delta is -$505,154, showing that net selling has outweighed buying over the day.
