Mesh releases unified Cardano and Bitcoin wallet SDK
bsc.news reports that Mesh has released a combined Cardano and Bitcoin wallet SDK funded through Project Catalyst. The @meshsdk package provides a single interface for developers to build across both networks using open-source code under the Apache 2.0 licence. This release allows developers to utilize headless wallets and script handling for both chains without maintaining separate toolchains.
The SDK connects to Xverse and other Bitcoin extensions via a unified Sats Connect API while offering transaction builders and smart contract libraries for Cardano. The initiative is part of Mesh's Catalyst Fund 14 proposal, which was budgeted at 100,000 ADA. Four of the five milestones have received approved proof of achievement, with the fifth awaiting closeout.
To date, a total of 76,000 ADA has been released to the team. Project Catalyst serves as a critical launchpad for builders, having distributed over $100 million across 13 voting rounds. This development lowers the cost of building multi-chain applications by unifying the developer experience.
How the market reacted
Whalio's own Binance spot order flow for ADA, measured when this story was written up on 11 September 2026. Not the outlet's figures.
Whalio spot data for ADA shows a price of $0.2047 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 49.8%, indicating a near-even split between buyers and sellers. The 1-hour buy ratio sits at 48.2% and the 4-hour ratio at 47.8%, suggesting that short-term buying pressure is slightly weaker than the daily average. Volume Delta reflects this hesitation, showing negative flows of -$59,075 over the last hour and -$129,354 over four hours. A negative Volume Delta means that sell volume has exceeded buy volume during these periods, pushing the cumulative volume delta to -$113,866 by the 24-hour close. Despite this outflow, spot volume remained robust at $28,369,609 with 167,388 trades recorded. Net buying occurred for only 11 of the 24 hours, confirming that selling pressure dominated the trading session.
The latest daily buy ratio of 45.6% sits at the 5th percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 49.2% - among the weakest buying days it has had.
Was that an ordinary day?
The same Binance spot measurements for ADA, averaged over the days leading up to the story.
Over the preceding week, the 7-day average buy ratio was 49.9%, which is virtually identical to the current 24-hour reading of 49.8%. This stability in sentiment contrasts with the volume, which dropped to 0.70x the weekly average, indicating lighter trading activity than usual. The coin experienced a 7.4% price decline over the eight-day period, with a total Volume Delta of -$49,112. While the buying ratio remains consistent with historical norms, the reduced volume and negative delta highlight a lack of aggressive accumulation. This represents an ordinary day for sentiment but an unusually quiet one for volume compared to the weekly baseline.
