Bitcoin Targets $100,000 Before U.S. Midterms

Bitcoin (BTC) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Digitaltoday.co.kr reports that Bitcoin may reclaim the $100,000 level before the U.S. midterm elections. Crypto trader Will Meade identified a bullish continuation pattern on the daily chart. He described the structure as a high-and-tight flag, suggesting a sideways move in September followed by an October breakout.

For this forecast to hold, Bitcoin must rise sharply to reach $100,000 by November 3, 2026. The asset is currently trading between $76,500 and $77,500, roughly 39 percent below its all-time high of $126,198 set on October 6, 2025. Meade interprets the consolidation in the mid-to-high $70,000s as a prelude to further gains rather than a bearish signal.

This technical view is supported by October seasonality, often called Uptober by traders. However, the report notes that strong performance in October is not guaranteed.
