Eddid Financial Appointed as Participating Dealer for MicroBit Bitcoin ETF

Bitcoin (BTC)

According to www.manilatimes.net, Eddid Financial announced that its subsidiary, Eddid Securities and Futures Limited, has been appointed as a Participating Dealer for the MicroBit Bitcoin and Gold Value ETF. The fund, trading under codes 3002.HK and 9002.HK, officially commenced trading on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on August 26, 2026. As a core Participating Dealer, Eddid Financial will provide primary market in-kind and in-cash subscription and redemption services using its institutional-grade market-making capabilities. The ETF combines Bitcoin and gold to offer investors a cross-asset allocation tool designed to enhance portfolio resilience through low correlation between the two assets. A periodic rebalancing mechanism maintains target proportions of Bitcoin and gold within the portfolio. Eddid Financial has previously served as a Participating Dealer for multiple mainstream virtual asset spot ETFs in Hong Kong. This appointment highlights the group's ability to handle complex technical integration and multi-asset settlement mechanisms.

Bitcoin is trading at $78,539.14 with a 24-hour spot volume of $1,972,170,530 across 6,360,202 trades. While the 24-hour buy ratio sits at 51.0%, the 1-hour ratio has dropped to 48.4%, indicating a short-term shift toward selling pressure. This short-term weakness is confirmed by a negative Volume Delta of -$2,340,106 in the last hour, contrasting sharply with the positive +$9,615,977 delta recorded over the past 4 hours. The 4-hour buy ratio of 53.1% suggests that buying interest remains dominant over the medium term, despite the recent intraday dip. However, the cumulative Volume Delta for the day is +$40,417,819, showing that net buying has outweighed selling over the full 24-hour period. Despite this net positive delta, the CVD at 24-hour close is -$3,448,344, suggesting that recent price action or order flow dynamics have reversed the earlier gains. Net buying hours account for 13 out of 24, reflecting a balanced but slightly tilted market structure.
