Schwab Crypto Adds SOL, AVAX, LINK to Bitcoin and Ether Lineup

Bitcoin (BTC) Editor: Eugene Serbin

bitcoinethereumnews.com reports that Charles Schwab plans to add Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink to its Schwab Crypto platform. This expansion brings the direct-trading menu to five tokens, following the service's initial rollout in May. The new assets will be available through Schwab Premier Bank, where clients maintain a separate crypto account linked to their brokerage account.

Paxos provides sub-custody and trade execution for these transactions. Trades are priced at 75 basis points, or 0.75%, of the dollar value of each transaction. The accounts are available in every U.S. state except New York and Louisiana.

Schwab gave no specific launch date for these additions and noted that support could change due to market or regulatory developments. A separate advisor-channel service is targeted for mid-2027, when Schwab aims to bring spot crypto trading to registered investment advisers.
