Strategy Buys 4,603 BTC After 10-Week Pause

Bitcoin (BTC) Editor: Eugene Serbin

According to cryptocurrency.com.tr, Bitcoin treasury Strategy has resumed its Bitcoin accumulation following a ten-week hiatus. The company announced on Monday that it purchased 4,603 bitcoins for a total of $369.7 million between August 24 and August 30. This acquisition brings the average cost per coin to $80,318.

The buying activity marks a shift from June, when Strategy paused purchases to build a cash buffer and repurchase its own stock. Strategy CEO Phong Le stated that the firm is evolving from one-way capital issuance to active capital management. He explained that the company intends to issue securities when capital is attractive and repurchase them when buybacks are accretive.

This flexibility aims to create shareholder value and improve corporate performance. The move signals a return to direct Bitcoin accumulation after a period of strategic cash building.

The buy ratio represents the proportion of volume driven by buyers versus sellers, while volume delta measures the net difference between buy and sell pressure.
