Ether.fi Integrates MoonPay for Crypto On- and Off-Ramps

ether.fi (ETHFI) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptowisser.com reports that Ether.fi announced on Tuesday that MoonPay is now its official payments infrastructure partner. This integration provides users with a unified experience for onramps, offramps, cross-chain trading, virtual accounts, and crypto deposits. Ether.fi operates as a decentralized, non-custodial staking platform allowing users to retain control of their ETH while earning rewards.

The system utilizes Transferable NFTs (T-NFTs) representing 30 ETH and Bond NFTs (B-NFTs) representing 2 ETH. Stakers maintain full ownership of validator keys, which are encrypted using the node operator's public key. A distributed validator technology system spreads responsibilities across multiple operators for enhanced resilience.

Node operators bid in an auction mechanism to run validators, ensuring a competitive marketplace. The platform includes a desktop application to guide users through validator setup and performance monitoring. ETHFI was trading at $0.7575 with a 4.3% gain in the last 24 hours at the time of the report.
