Injective CEO Says US Spot ETFs Could Launch Before 2027

Injective (INJ) Editor: Eugene Serbin

bsc.news reports that Injective CEO Eric Chen believes U.S. spot ETFs for INJ may launch before 2027. Chen made these remarks at Korea Blockchain Week 2026 on October 5. Two amended SEC filings are currently progressing through the review process.

On September 18, 2026, 21Shares filed Amendment No. 1 for a spot Injective ETF to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker TINJ. This passive fund tracks INJ directly, with custody managed by Coinbase Custody Trust and BitGo Bank. On September 24, 2026, Canary Capital submitted Amendment No. 3 for a staked INJ ETF proposed for Cboe BZX under the ticker INJS.

This fund aims to provide spot price exposure while earning returns from staking rewards. CoinDesk Indices provides the pricing benchmark for the Canary Capital product. Injective Institutional Services was registered with the SEC as a transfer agent on August 19, 2026. This registration allows the network to maintain ownership records for tokenized securities in a regulated manner.

However, the 4-hour buy ratio sits at 45.6%, showing that this buying interest is fading over a slightly longer timeframe. The 24-hour buy ratio is 45.0%, confirming that sellers have dominated the session overall. Volume Delta reflects this imbalance, with a negative -$658,121 over 24 hours and a -$104,110 delta over 4 hours. The 1-hour volume delta is positive at +$13,386, suggesting a brief influx of buy orders in the last hour. The latest daily buy ratio of 53.4% sits at the 91st percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 49.8% - among the strongest buying days it has had.
