Injective Foundation Launches Trench Treasury for Builders

Injective (INJ) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptowisser.com reports that the Injective Foundation announced the creation of the Injective Trench Treasury on Monday. This new initiative aims to directly support ecosystem projects that drive value to $INJ and the broader community. The program rewards loyal participants through specific programs designed to give back to them.

Selection criteria are intentionally broad to allow the widest range of builders to qualify. The treasury recognizes the trenches as places where new users arrive and communities form. Injective operates as a highly interoperable smart contract platform based on Wasm 2.0.

It utilizes a custom Tendermint Proof-of-Stake mechanism for instant transaction finality. The network achieves sub-second block times of 0.6s and sustains over 25,000 TPS. It has recorded over 1 billion transactions and supports 100+ projects with 500,000 members. Backers include Pantera Capital, Jump Crypto, and Mark Cuban, with original incubation by Binance.

Over the preceding week, the average buy ratio was 48.8%, making today's 24-hour reading of 50.6% an increase of 1.8 points. This suggests an unusual day for the coin, characterized by stronger-than-average buying interest. However, spot volume was only 0.72x the weekly average, indicating lower participation despite the higher ratio. Net buying occurred on 4 of the 7 days, with an 8-day volume delta of -$1,367,613. The price rose 3.6% over the eight-day period, contrasting with the negative net volume delta. This context highlights a divergence between price appreciation and overall volume trends over the week.
