Injective launches native Solana token and Robinhood listing

Injective (INJ) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Startupfortune.com reports that Injective has simultaneously expanded its reach by launching INJ as a native SPL token on Solana and listing it on Robinhood. The Solana debut occurred on September 17, 2026, utilizing the Wormhole Labs Sunrise gateway to provide a canonical address across venues like Raydium, Jupiter, and Phantom. This move allows the Cosmos-based chain to access liquidity directly where it already exists, rather than pulling it to its own ecosystem.

Earlier in July, Injective secured a listing on Robinhood Crypto, giving retail users direct access without needing specialized wallets or bridges. The project also filed Form TA-1 with the SEC to register as a transfer agent, aiming to hold legally recognized shareholder records onchain. Two competing ETF filings emerged shortly after, with 21Shares proposing TINJ for Nasdaq and Canary Capital filing for INJS on Cboe BZX.

These institutional efforts coincide with Republic's August 2025 launch of a wallet and launchpad on Injective to facilitate private company investments. Community voting is currently underway on IIP-701, the Meridian mainnet upgrade designed to enable regulated firms to issue tokenized stocks and real-world assets. The strategy targets both DeFi-fluent traders on Solana and retail users on Robinhood to drive adoption across different segments. This coordinated push aims to establish Injective as a hub for derivatives and real-world asset trading before broader market scrutiny increases.
