Chainlink launches CCIP 2.0 at Sibos 2026

Chainlink (LINK) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptobriefing.com reports that Chainlink introduced CCIP 2.0 at Sibos 2026 in Miami on September 28. The upgrade targets institutional infrastructure with features like Cross-Chain Verifiers and faster-than-finality transfers. These tools allow institutions to receive assets before source chain finality, provided security guarantees are met.

Chainlink also launched the Automated Compliance Engine to automate reconciliation across fragmented networks. The protocol now secures over $84 billion in cross-chain token value. Migrations have exceeded $15 billion in the past four months.

Integration with the Swift Ledger enables 24/7 tokenized payment workflows for banks. The Swift network processes messaging for roughly 11,000 financial institutions across more than 200 countries. Co-founder Sergey Nazarov is leading sessions, including a panel on cross-chain collateral management. Chainlink’s booth at Sibos is hosting discussions with entities including DTCC and Microsoft.
