Lighter Expands Chainlink Integration to 100+ Markets

Chainlink (LINK) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Cryptocurrency.com.tr reports that Lighter, a decentralized perpetual contract exchange, expanded its Chainlink integration to over 100 markets on Friday, August 28. This move extends off-chain price feed infrastructure to new asset classes within its order book. The platform, which has recorded $1.7 trillion in total volume, adopted this strategic expansion to strengthen data oracle security.

Previously, Lighter supported 25 markets backed by the decentralized network. The new deployment incorporates low-latency data streams for U.S. and Asia-Pacific equities. It also covers foreign exchange pairs, commodities, and large-cap crypto assets.

With this update, the platform’s operational reach multiplies significantly. The technical report highlights the scaling of support for these diverse financial instruments. This integration marks a substantial increase in the number of markets powered by Chainlink on the exchange.
