Schwab Adds SOL, AVAX, and LINK to Crypto Accounts

Chainlink (LINK) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Charles Schwab announced on August 27 that it plans to add Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink to its Crypto accounts in the coming months. This expansion extends the broker’s direct cryptocurrency-trading lineup beyond the initial offerings of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Clients will eventually be able to trade the tokens known as SOL, AVAX, and LINK through the same crypto account.

The company stated that these three assets reflect an effort to expand its digital-asset offering with established cryptocurrencies aligned with client demand. Schwab did not provide a specific launch date for these new additions. The additions are planned and are not currently live.

Schwab Crypto charges 75 basis points on the dollar value of each trade. Bitcoin and Ethereum access began rolling out to Schwab Crypto clients in May 2026. The announcement was reported by bitcoinethereumnews.com. The move signals a broadening of the service beyond its initial two cryptocurrencies.
