Wyoming Adopts Chainlink Proof of Reserve for FRNT Stablecoin

Chainlink (LINK) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cvj.ai reports that Wyoming’s Stable Token Commission has integrated Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve and Secure Mint for its FRNT stablecoin. This deployment adds a real-time onchain verification layer to the state’s existing daily attestations without replacing the independent examination process. The commission announced the adoption on September 2, 2026, making verified reserve and token-supply data available onchain in near real time.

This integration connects verified data to an issuance safeguard while preserving daily attestations published through The Network Firm’s LedgerLens platform. Central to the arrangement is Chainlink Secure Mint, which enforces that verified reserves must equal or exceed FRNT’s outstanding supply before new tokens can be minted. FRNT’s backing assets include cash, U.S. Treasuries, and repurchase agreements as disclosed in a May commission report.

The Network Firm performs reserve and supply examinations under AICPA standards, which now operate alongside Chainlink’s onchain verification tools. Independent reporting characterized the deployment as an additional transparency mechanism rather than a replacement for established processes. Wyoming’s approach blends rigorous off-chain examination with cutting-edge onchain verification to enhance trust in digital assets. This initiative provides a transparent window into FRNT’s reserves, potentially increasing confidence in the stablecoin’s stability.
