Ducat Integrates with TRON for Bitcoin-Backed Finance

TRON (TRX) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Cryptocurrency.com.tr reports that Ducat has integrated with the TRON network to expand stablecoin utility for Bitcoin-backed finance. The British Virgin Islands-based project announced the move on September 17, 2026, to enable faster and lower-cost on-chain settlement. Users can now utilize USDT (TRC-20) as a primary settlement asset within Ducat’s infrastructure.

The integration introduces wUNIT, a TRC-20 representation of Ducat’s Bitcoin-backed dollar, UNIT. While UNIT remains issued against BTC on Bitcoin, wUNIT allows that value to move across TRON and interact with USDT liquidity. A dedicated stablecoin liquidity pool enables users to swap wUNIT directly for USDT.

Liquidity providers supplying both assets receive a share of the swap fees generated by the pool. This architecture connects Ducat’s Bitcoin-native credit engine with TRON’s scalable settlement environment. The design keeps Ducat’s underlying collateral and issuance on Bitcoin while leveraging TRON for liquidity workflows. This setup provides a direct route for Bitcoin-backed liquidity into TRON’s stablecoin ecosystem.

Whalio data shows TRX trading at $0.3356 with a 24-hour spot volume of $28,338,668. The 24-hour buy ratio stands at 55.1%, indicating that buyers controlled the majority of trades over the full day. However, short-term pressure has shifted, with the 1-hour buy ratio dropping to 39.0% and the 4-hour ratio at 48.2%. This decline suggests that immediate buying momentum is fading compared to the daily average. Despite these short-term outflows, the 24-hour volume delta remains positive at $2,871,816. The cumulative volume delta (CVD) for the day closed at -$1,657,218, indicating that sell pressure outweighed buy pressure in the final tally.

The latest daily buy ratio of 49.7% sits at the 33rd percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 52.4% - ordinary for this coin.
