TRON Integrates MetaMask for Four Major dApps

TRON (TRX) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptobriefing.com reports that TRON DAO announced on September 10, 2026, that four ecosystem applications now support MetaMask connectivity. The integrated platforms are JustLend DAO, SUN.io, B.AI, and BitTorrent, marking a shift from the previous requirement for users to install TronLink. This expansion builds on a partnership with Consensys announced in August 2025 and adds native TRON support to MetaMask in January 2026.

JustLend DAO leads the group with over $7B in total value locked, while SUN.io reports a TVL exceeding $650M. B.AI provides AI-driven financial tooling, and BitTorrent offers cross-chain functionality via BTTC and decentralized storage through BTFS. TRON DAO spokesperson Sam Elfarra described the move as a deliberate effort to reduce user friction. He stated it allows users to engage with the TRON blockchain through a self-custodial interface they already know and trust.

MetaMask remains the dominant self-custodial wallet, yet TRON has often existed at arm’s length for its tens of millions of users. This integration lowers the barrier for accessing DeFi on the network without managing a separate seed phrase.
