BeatSwap Hacked for $77,512 as UNI Spot Data Shows Mixed Flow
lookonchain.com reports that Web3 IP copyright platform BeatSwap was hacked, resulting in the loss of 2,984,557 BTX tokens valued at approximately $77,512. The attacker utilized a flash loan of 6,000,000 BTX to dump into the Uniswap V3 pool, thereby lowering the sqrtPriceX96. By exploiting a vulnerability in the LiquidityVestingConvert contract, which relies on the V3 spot price without TWAP or deviation limits, the attacker manipulated the market.
The attacker called the deposit function twice for 10,000 and 2,000 USDT to mint positions and drain all BTX from the liquidity pool. According to Slow Mist monitoring, the exploit allowed the attacker to drain the pool completely. This incident highlights the risks associated with spot price dependencies in liquidity contracts.
The attack was executed quickly, leveraging the price manipulation to maximize the drain. The total value lost stands at roughly $77,512 based on the token price at the time of the hack. The platform remains identified as a Web3 IP copyright service. The specific contract vulnerability allowed for a direct exploitation of the pricing mechanism.
How the market reacted
Whalio's own Binance spot order flow for UNI, measured when this story was written up on 11 September 2026. Not the outlet's figures.
UNI is currently trading at $5.95 with a 1-hour buy ratio of 43.0%, which is lower than the 4-hour ratio of 46.3% and the 24-hour ratio of 48.8%. This declining trend in buy ratios suggests that short-term buying pressure is fading compared to the broader daily average. The volume delta reflects this weakness, showing a net outflow of -$685,890 over the last hour and -$2,059,389 over four hours. Over the full 24 hours, the volume delta is -$1,272,588, indicating sustained selling pressure throughout the day. The cumulative volume delta at the 24-hour close is -$6,227,807, confirming that sellers have dominated the market. Net buying occurred for only 4 out of 24 hours, highlighting a day where selling was the primary flow.
The latest daily buy ratio of 45.7% sits at the 13th percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 49.2% - weaker buying than most days.
Was that an ordinary day?
The same Binance spot measurements for UNI, averaged over the days leading up to the story.
Comparing today's activity to the preceding week reveals a shift in momentum, as the 24-hour buy ratio of 48.8% is slightly below the 7-day average of 49.7%. Volume has also decreased relative to the norm, with current levels at 0.77 times the average. This indicates that trading activity is quieter than usual, contributing to a less dynamic price environment. The coin has seen a price change of -5.9% over the past 8 days, reflecting a broader downtrend. While the weekly volume delta was positive at +$24,028, the current 24-hour negative delta shows a reversal of that recent accumulation. This suggests that the recent buying interest has paused or reversed in the immediate term.
