CME Adds Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap Futures for October 19 Launch

Uniswap (UNI) Editor: Eugene Serbin

cryptocurrency.com.tr reports that CME Group is expanding its cryptocurrency derivatives lineup to include Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap. Trading for these new contracts is scheduled to begin on October 19, pending regulatory review. Both assets will be offered in standard and Micro contract sizes to provide traders with varied options for managing exposure.

The standard Bitcoin Cash futures contract will be based on 250 BCH, while the Micro version will cover 25 BCH. For Uniswap, the standard contract represents 10,000 UNI, and the micro version covers 1,000 UNI. CME Group stated in a press release that these smaller contracts offer greater flexibility for adjusting positions.

They also serve participants who prefer lower contract sizes within a regulated futures market. The new products will be available on CME’s 24/7, CFTC-regulated marketplace. This expansion adds two major digital assets to the exchange's existing derivatives suite. The move aims to give traders more tools for managing price exposure in these specific markets.
