Uniswap Price Surges 10% on Robinhood Chain Volume

Uniswap (UNI) Editor: Eugene Serbin

bitcoinethereumnews.com reports that Uniswap price rose nearly 10% on September 1 to $5.68, outperforming Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. This rally was primarily driven by a surge in real utility from Robinhood Chain, which recorded $1.49 billion in daily DEX volume. Uniswap captured 76 percent of this volume, with v4 adding $432 million and v3 adding $357 million.

Daily transactions hit a record high of 5.52 million, indicating wider demand across the network. Approximately 1.5 billion tokenized stock trades were executed on Robinhood Chain, expanding access to 24/7 markets for traditional assets. More than 60 percent of weekly real-world asset DEX volume passed through Uniswap, up from 40 percent previously.

The protocol collected a record 25 million weekly fees, including 21 million from Robinhood Chain. Theo Messari stated that the total amount of UNI burned is currently equivalent to approximately $160 million. Uniswap burned over $300,000 worth of UNI in ten days, reinforcing the token-burn story. UNI price trades around $5.75 after a four-hour extension of its recovery toward the $6.00 resistance area.
