BVNK Adds Stellar Network to Settlement Platform

Stellar (XLM) Editor: Eugene Serbin

digitaltoday.co.kr reports that stablecoin payments firm BVNK has integrated the Stellar network into its settlement infrastructure. This addition allows customers to utilize Stellar-based routes across more than 130 markets. The move follows Mastercard's acquisition of BVNK for $1.8 billion, completed on August 3.

BVNK highlighted that Stellar processed $55.6 billion in payments during 2025 with 99.99 percent uptime. The network achieved an average settlement time of five seconds and transaction fees below one cent. Kimberly Meskell Julien noted that companies can expand settlement networks without managing individual chain connections.

Denelle Dixon stated that financial institutions rely on Stellar for cross-border transfers and stablecoin settlement. DeFiLlama data shows approximately $894 million in dollar-pegged stablecoins are currently circulating on the network.
