Zebec Integrates MoneyGram Ramps Into Stellar Payroll

Stellar (XLM) Editor: Eugene Serbin

bsc.news reports that Zebec has integrated MoneyGram Ramps into its streaming payroll infrastructure on the Stellar network. This addition allows workers to collect stablecoin wages as physical cash at agent counters in over 170 countries without needing a bank account. Zebec streams employee and contractor pay continuously in $USDC directly on Stellar, with businesses making real-time payments that employees receive in digital wallets.

With MoneyGram Ramps embedded in this flow, recipients can convert their digital balance to cash at a physical location. MoneyGram Ramps provides $USDC access on both Solana and Stellar at more than 470,000 locations across 170-plus countries and territories. The service supports cash deposits in more than 25 countries and withdrawals across more than 170 countries and territories.

Stellar selected Zebec as its global stablecoin payroll infrastructure provider, marking the first time Zebec's streaming payment rails have been deployed on any chain outside Solana. Stellar processes more than 250,000 USDC transactions daily with transaction costs typically less than a cent. The rollout begins with core payroll functionality before expanding into full global payout infrastructure. Stellar maintains connectivity to payment providers and operates in alignment with payment standards such as ISO 20022.
