Zebec, MoneyGram and Stellar expand payroll with global fiat off-ramp
Financialpost.com reports that Zebec Network, the Stellar Development Foundation and MoneyGram have announced an integration of MoneyGram Ramps into Zebec’s enterprise payroll platform. This partnership makes MoneyGram the first fiat off-ramp available through Zebec’s Stellar network payroll experience, connecting workers to cash for everyday transactions. Zebec’s deployment on the Stellar network allows employers to stream payments in stablecoins, which recipients can receive into digital wallets as payroll accrues.
Users can retain the digital value, spend it via Zebec card products, or access funds in local currency through MoneyGram locations. MoneyGram Ramps facilitates USDC cash-in and cash-out on the Stellar network, enabling conversions at participating locations in over 170 countries without a traditional bank account. Simon Babakhani, CEO of Zebec Network, stated that Stellar provides the infrastructure, MoneyGram extends it into local fiat access, and Zebec unites the employer and recipient experience.
Zebec is described as a real-time payroll infrastructure company powering programmable value flows. The Stellar network is an open-source blockchain designed for payments and cross-border financial access with fast, low-cost transactions. MoneyGram is a global payments network supporting both fiat and stablecoin transactions across nearly half a million retail locations.

The 24-hour buy ratio stands at 51.1%, indicating a slight majority of buyers, while the 1-hour ratio is 51.3% and the 4-hour ratio has dropped to 47.0%.
