Remittix Tests PayFi as Ripple Invests in OKX

XRP (XRP) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Techbullion reports that Ripple’s payments strategy is expanding through a strategic investment in OKX, joining Circle, QRT and SC Ventures in the round. This move highlights Ripple’s liquidity and stablecoin expertise, particularly with RLUSD now available on the exchange. Meanwhile, Remittix is launching its own PayFi solution to convert digital assets into usable bank money for individuals and small businesses.

The platform has invited 1,000 existing RTX holders to test initial EUR and USD options before its November 24 debut. Remittix aims to serve freelancers and families seeking a simple route from crypto balances to bank accounts. The company has raised more than $32 million toward a $36 million cap, with a final presale tier set at $0.46.

Initial testing allows users to receive payments from overseas clients and convert value into fiat for everyday expenses. Remittix also reports over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads and $50 million in cumulative trading volume. The platform’s Earn feature is approaching release to broaden its utility beyond simple transfers. More than 40,000 participants joined the presale, providing an initial audience for the new payment infrastructure.

XRP is trading at $1.42 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 49.4%, indicating a near-even split between buyers and sellers. The 1-hour buy ratio stands at 49.9%, while the 4-hour ratio is 49.5%, showing that short-term buying pressure is stable but not expanding. Volume delta is negative across all timeframes, with -$7,398 in the last hour and -$264,852 over four hours. This negative delta means that sell volume is exceeding buy volume, pushing the price down. Over 24 hours, the volume delta is -$2,976,427, with a cumulative volume delta of -$9,539,966. Net buying occurred in only 8 of the last 24 hours, suggesting a slight dominance by sellers.

The latest daily buy ratio of 50.6% sits at the 83rd percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 48.5% - stronger buying than most days.

Over the preceding week, the average buy ratio was 49.5%, which is nearly identical to the current 24-hour reading. However, spot volume has surged to 1.48 times the weekly average, indicating significantly higher activity than usual. The price has dropped 4.6% over the last eight days, with a total volume delta of -$17,995,794. This volume spike contrasts with the steady buy ratio, showing that increased trading is driving price lower rather than higher. While the buying distribution remains balanced, the heavy selling pressure has resulted in a clear downward trend for the coin.
