Zcash ETP Launches in Europe as Price Hits Multi-Year High

Zcash (ZEC) Editor: Eugene Serbin

ieconomy.io reports that 21shares has listed Europe’s first Zcash exchange-traded product on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam. This physically backed ETP allows investors to gain exposure to ZEC through brokerage accounts without holding the token directly. The launch coincides with a new physically backed ETHFI ETP, expanding 21shares’ lineup beyond Bitcoin and Ether.

Both products carry an annual management fee of 2.5%, which is higher than many mainstream crypto products in the region. Zcash recently saw its market value exceed $20 billion after Grayscale’s Zcash Trust converted into an ETF in late August. The token climbed to its strongest price since 2016, driven by renewed attention and a legal decision reducing regulatory uncertainty.

Grayscale has also filed to split its Zcash ETF 3-for-1 to lower the per-share price. Meanwhile, Circle sold Binance $100 million of stock and extended a five-year USDC promotion deal. These developments highlight a wider industry push to diversify crypto funds into specialized assets.
