Aptos Foundation partners with Daya and HashKey MENA for stablecoin corridor
Cryptobriefing.com reports that the Aptos Foundation has joined forces with Daya and HashKey MENA to establish a regulated stablecoin corridor linking the Middle East and Africa. This partnership aims to create a B2B settlement infrastructure where stablecoins serve as the primary asset for cross-border trade. HashKey MENA will provide connectivity for AED and USD fiat-to-stablecoin conversions, while Daya supplies the African payment infrastructure, including local currency on- and off-ramps.
The Aptos blockchain will act as the underlying settlement network, maintaining compatibility with traditional SWIFT and bank wire systems. The initiative is designed to support multinational companies in funding local payments by converting currencies at opposite ends of the corridor. HashKey MENA is extending its Asia Connect network into Africa, following its initial launch between Hong Kong and the Philippines in June 2025.
The Aptos Foundation will support the project as an ecosystem partner and help fund its execution. The pilot program is scheduled to roll out in two phases to test this new financial corridor.
How the market reacted
Whalio's own Binance spot order flow for APT, measured when this story was written up on 28 September 2026. Not the outlet's figures.
APT is currently trading at $0.8646 with a 24-hour spot volume of $9,963,255. In the last hour, buying pressure is dominant with a buy ratio of 54.9% and a positive volume delta of $35,952, indicating immediate accumulation. However, this momentum has faded over the past four hours, where the buy ratio dropped to 46.0% and volume delta turned negative at -$204,119. Over the full day, the market remains balanced with a 50.3% buy ratio and a net positive delta of $65,482. The cumulative volume delta shows a net outflow of -$253,168 by the 24-hour close, suggesting that despite short-term buying, larger sellers have dominated the day's total flow.
The latest daily buy ratio of 50.0% sits at the 59th percentile of the last 323 days, against a median of 49.3% - ordinary for this coin.
Was that an ordinary day?
The same Binance spot measurements for APT, averaged over the days leading up to the story.
Compared to the preceding week, today's activity shows a slight increase in buying interest, with the buy ratio 1.0 point above the 7-day average of 49.2%. However, trading volume remains subdued at 0.66 times the weekly average, indicating lower participation than usual. The coin has gained 16.8% over the past eight days, yet the total volume delta for that period remains negative at -$1,214,553. Net buying occurred on only three of the last seven days, suggesting that the recent price rise has not been driven by consistent accumulation. This makes today's mixed flow a typical deviation within a week characterized by higher prices but persistent selling pressure.
