BitGo Enables Aptos Decibel Trading for Institutional Wallets
Tronweekly reports that BitGo has integrated its Aptos Network support, allowing institutional clients to trade on the Aptos-based decentralized exchange Decibel. This development enables institutions to connect their self-custody MPC wallets directly to Decibel via WalletConnect without moving assets to a new wallet. Transactions are processed using BitGo’s multi-party computation technology, preserving existing controls like address whitelisting and multi-signature requirements.
The integration ensures that internal approval processes remain intact while users interact with decentralized applications. BitGo’s system remains compatible with current custody structures, meaning assets stay within the BitGo-linked wallet during trading. The rollout begins with wallet integration for Ethereum and Solana, with support for additional networks planned for the future.
Decibel offers spot and perpetual markets, providing access to these on-chain venues while maintaining institutional security frameworks. This move highlights the growing trend of linking self-custody architecture with DeFi platforms for institutional adoption.
How the market reacted
Whalio's own Binance spot order flow for APT, measured when this story was written up on 4 September 2026. Not the outlet's figures.
Aptos is currently trading at $0.6030 on Binance spot markets. In the last hour, buying pressure is strong with a buy ratio of 64.8% and a positive volume delta of $47,107, indicating immediate aggressive accumulation. However, this momentum has faded over the longer term, as the 4-hour buy ratio sits at 49.0% with a negative volume delta of -$10,138. Over the past 24 hours, the market shows a balanced view with a 50.4% buy ratio and a net positive volume delta of $104,660. The buy ratio represents the proportion of trades executed as buys versus sells, while volume delta measures the net difference between buy and sell volume. Current short-term flows suggest a burst of buying interest that has not yet sustained into the mid-term.
The latest daily buy ratio of 46.3% sits at the 12th percentile of the last 281 days, against a median of 49.2% - weaker buying than most days.
Was that an ordinary day?
The same Binance spot measurements for APT, averaged over the days leading up to the story.
Over the preceding week, Aptos has experienced consistent net buying, with 7 out of 7 days showing positive accumulation. The 7-day average buy ratio is 51.5%, which is slightly higher than the current 24-hour reading of 50.4%. Volume has been notably elevated, trading at 2.09 times the weekly average with a total volume delta of $1,080,436 over eight days. This volume surge contrasts with the relatively modest 24-hour spot volume of $11,493,518. The price has risen 5.2% over the eight-day period, reflecting steady institutional or whale interest. Today’s activity represents a continuation of this upward trend, albeit with a slight dip in the buy ratio compared to the weekly average.
