Arbitrum adopts USDG as default DeFi dollar

Arbitrum (ARB) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Grafa.com reports that Arbitrum has joined the Global Dollar Network, establishing USDG as the default dollar asset across its DeFi ecosystem. This integration enables USDG to support liquidity, lending, derivatives collateral, and institutional settlement on Arbitrum One. The network has processed nearly 3 billion transactions involving almost 90 million addresses and over 193,000 verified contracts.

Businesses can utilize USDG for trading, collateral, settlement, treasury balances, payments, and cross-border transfers. As a network partner, Arbitrum participates directly in USDG economics, while eligible businesses can earn rewards for contributing activity. USDG is issued by Paxos entities under regulatory supervision in Singapore and Europe, featuring one-to-one US dollar redemption.

The Global Dollar Network now includes more than 150 partners. USDG is also live on Ethereum, Ink, Mantle, Robinhood Chain, Solana, and X Layer.
