Solana Alpenglow Upgrade Nears as Remittix Launches BINANCE500 Campaign

Solana (SOL) Editor: Eugene Serbin

Techbullion.com reports that Solana’s Alpenglow consensus upgrade is progressing toward a target transaction finality of 150 milliseconds. The Solana Foundation’s September guide indicates this change reduces confirmation times from approximately 12.8 seconds by altering how validators agree on blocks. This upgrade does not modify the Solana Virtual Machine, account model, or transaction fees, with development and testing still ongoing.

Solana’s SOL token traded around $121 on September 26, reflecting market pricing for these future network improvements. Meanwhile, Remittix is launching its PayFi tools to bridge crypto funding with usable bank balances. The project has raised over $32 million from more than 40,000 participants toward a $36 million hard cap.

RTX is currently priced at $0.21, with a final presale tier of $0.46 scheduled for a November 24, 2026 debut. A limited BINANCE500 campaign offers 500% additional RTX for qualifying purchases during a seven-day window. Remittix Markets is already live with hundreds of perpetual pairs, while its ecosystem wallet connects trading, storage, and Earn services. The Earn feature is in testing with potential yields advertised at up to 22% APY under final terms.

Whalio spot data shows SOL trading at $121.41 with a 24-hour buy ratio of 52.8%, indicating that buyers held the majority of volume over the full day. Shorter timeframes show a shift, with the 1-hour buy ratio dropping to 44.9% while the 4-hour ratio sits at 53.4%. Volume delta turned negative in the last hour by $1,017,111, contrasting with a positive $1,812,569 over the past four hours. This suggests that immediate buying pressure is fading, even though the broader 24-hour trend remains net positive with $12,317,272 in volume delta. The cumulative volume delta closed at +$15,052,480, confirming that net buying dominated the day despite the recent hourly dip.

The latest daily buy ratio of 48.8% sits at the 27th percentile of the last 322 days, against a median of 50.0% - weaker buying than most days.

Over the preceding week, SOL experienced a 9.3% price increase with a total volume delta of +$69,795,727. The 7-day average buy ratio was 50.6%, meaning today’s 24-hour ratio of 52.8% is slightly above the weekly norm by 2.2 points. However, spot volume today was only 0.60x the weekly average, indicating lower participation than usual. While buying pressure was slightly stronger than the weekly average, the reduced volume suggests this is not an unusually active trading day for the coin.
