Fairblock launches CUSD on Arbitrum as ARB trades near $0.20

Arbitrum (ARB) Editor: Eugene Serbin

lookonchain.com reports that Fairblock has launched its privacy-focused stablecoin CUSD on the Arbitrum network. The token is built on PYUSDx and backed by M0, PayPal, MoonPay, and Predicate. CUSD allows users to hide payment amounts and account balances while still supporting public transfers.

Institutions can use it to protect payroll disbursements and treasury management data. Individuals can conceal their on-chain payment amounts and transaction flows. Fairblock stated it will drive adoption through economic incentives.

More details regarding these incentives will be announced separately. The initial deployment of CUSD is live on Arbitrum. This launch adds a new privacy layer to the decentralized finance ecosystem.

The move highlights growing demand for confidential transaction capabilities. Stablecoins with privacy features are becoming increasingly relevant for institutional use. Fairblock aims to expand the utility of CUSD in the near future.
