Ethereum Upgrade Targets 200M Gas Limit for Higher Throughput
BeInCrypto.com reports that Ethereum’s next upgrade, named Glamsterdam, is planned for Q4 2026. The upgrade introduces protocol changes to make larger blocks easier to process and prepares the network for substantially higher L1 throughput. Developers have identified a post-upgrade gas limit target of around 200 million, compared to the current 60 million.
